* Record was founded in 1903 in the Swiss town of Tramelan in the Bernese Jura and once enjoyed a reputation for high precision wristwatches and was chosen to provide various armed forces around the world with service watches including the British Army. The company was bought by Longines in 1961 and continued manufacturing wristwatches until sadly winding up in 1991.

* This Record De Luxe model is a gorgeous 9ct gold dress watch and features a champagne dial, baton hands and applied hour markers. The 33mm case with a mere 7.5mm in height houses an ETA 2804-1 manual wind movement with hacking and date display at 3 o'clock. The watch comes fitted to the original black leather strap with Record pin buckle and also retains the original Record embossed winding crown.

* This watch comes in unworn condition and perfect working order. Remarkably all original box, swing tag and un-dated papers accompany, although aproximate date of manuafacture would be late 70s/early 80s. A stunning Swiss dress watch from a now sadly departed old manufacturer.
