* The Omega Seamaster Chronostop was produced from around the late 60s to early/mid 70s and with the help of the Omega cal. 865 movement features a very interesting, minimalist chronograph function which involves the central orange hand to be started from the top right hand pusher button then instantly stopped and reset from a single push of the same button. Although only able to record up to 1-minute - as there is no minute recording sub-dial - the watch was likely designed for car racing which required only short lapses of time to be recorded quickly and easily. The watch also features an inner minute recording bezel which can be turned bi-directionally from the left hand crown. Aside from the interesting technical aspects, this is a very attractve watch and due to its 40.5mm diameter, a very wearable watch for modern tastes.
* One of the standout aspects of this particular watch is that it also includes box, outer box, stamped warranty papers dated 1973 and even the original Omega leather strap with pin buckle! This one owner watch has since been for a full service and comes in excellent conditon for its age (8/10) and perfect workiing order with a 12-month warranty included. A unique and rare opportunity to own a great 70s Omega sports watch with all original paperwork included!
