* The release of the 1911, Le Modulor in 1995 from famous old Swiss brand Ebel was met with rather muted interest upon launch and one of the main reasons was most likely down to size. 90s wristwach design was all about being bigger (see Panerai, IWC and Breitling) so a rather sleek and elegantly designed Ebel chronograph release was not what the public was after. Nowadays, this watch is far more on trend and what with the watch housing their cal.137 movement (which is by foundation a Lemania 1350 movement) this is a Swiss made watch with fantastic atrributes.
