A brand-new watch family from NOMOS Glashütte has been unveiled at this year’s Baselworld watch exhibition: The Campus series. Three new hand-wound watches that are being classed as an entry level watch aimed at young graduates looking to enter into the world of handmade mechanical watches for the very first time. featuring all the wonderful attributes you would expect from a NOMOS watch from Glashütte, this trio is based on the older model Club—young, timelessly beautiful, and expertly produced. Fine timepieces, for now and for life: Club Campus, Club 38 Campus, and Club 38 Campus Nacht.
Traditional watchmaking skill, fine handcraft, a touch of modern technology—and only the best materials. The Campus models embody everything that sets watchmaking from NOMOS Glashütte apart and are real all-rounders; extra robust, inside and out, as well as water resistant to 100 meters. This all comes with a most beautiful bonus: While these watches should be more expensive, NOMOS are subsidising the entry into the world of handcrafted mechanical watches with a ‘student discount’ from Glashütte.
What makes Campus special? These new timepieces are bilingual: Arabic numerals, Roman numerals and indexes combine effortlessly on the sometimes lighter, sometimes darker Campus dial. Superluminova makes reading the time in low light easy and since they are all water resistant to 100 meters, the watches of the Campus series are happy to go for a swim too. All three models come with the extra robust case of the NOMOS model Club, made from stainless steel and sapphire crystal glass. They are watches for life and as they come with a ‘student discount’ from NOMOS Glashütte, these watches are also very affordable, at a price tailor-made for their target group.
