DEFAKTO STRUKTUR RECOGNISED IN ICON MAGAZINE

Berlin-based watch manufacturer – Defakto has recently featured in one of the world’s leading architecture and design-led magazines - ICON with its Struktur model. This particular piece was chosen due to its minimalist aesthetics, clean lines and clear design. Raphael Ickler, who is the sole owner of this small watch company set up Defakto in 2009 with the clear intention of designing and manufacturing solid, well-made wristwatches with strong Bauhaus influenced, design-led looks. These watches have resulted in various awards and accolades including a German Design Award in 2016 and being incorporated by the “Deutscher Werkbund”, which is hugely impressive for such a young company.
 

Struktur feautures a clean white or black dial with a 38mm brushed steel case and is fitted with a perfectly flat sapphire glass, creating a wonderfully slim and minimalist watch. A Swiss-made quartz movement is used in this particular model and has a retail price of just £245. Struktur is available to order direct from our website or can be viewed in our Leicester store.
