Defakto is an independent, design-led watch brand founded in 2009. Watches are produced within its own manufactory and offers high quality German made watches, offering an excellent price-performance ratio hard to find elsewhere.

Aiming to find the perfect symbiosis between form and function, Defakto watches recall the teachings of the Bauhaus design ethos while maintaining a strong contemporary aesthetic, resulting in a timeless, modern classic. 

Within their premises in Berlin, everything from concept to design, communications, assembly and logistics is carried out by the owner personally – Raphael Ickler. Defakto watch cases are manufactured by the family-owned manufactory - Ickler GmbH in Pforzheim, Germany, who have been creating precision timepieces since 1924. 

Simple geometries and precise proportions make certain that every Defakto watch will have a timeless appeal that owners will appreciate just as much today as in the future.
