* The Circula SuperSport is a rarity amongst modern dive watches, being a true Super-Compressor dive watch and not a Compressor-styled dive watch. A (Super-) Compressor is a diving tool where the case reacts to the increased pressure of water. A special spring-like O-ring is gradually compressed, effectively sealing the case tighter and tighter and locking out the water. The term Super Compressor is trademarked by Ervin Piquerez S.A., and watches made between the 1950s and 1970s could reach depths of 200m or more.

* The Circula SuperSport takes vintage design cues with it's 40mm cushion shaped case but adds real modernity with fantastic splashes of luminescent colour to the hands, hour markers and inner rotating bezel. The watch houses a Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement and also includes sapphire crystal glass, a solid case-back with diving helmet decoration and a screw-down crown with a very cool luminous logo!

* The watch comes fitted to a solid 'H' link bracelet with fold clasp and quick-release spring bars and also includes an additional Tropic rubber strap. A fantastic value dive watch with bags of character!

The history of Circula began in 1955 with Heinz Huber in Pforzheim, Germany - the watchmaking heart of the Black Forest. The watch tradition of the Huber family dates back to 1926. At that time, the family founded the jewellery and watch wholesaler Huber & Co. In the 1950s, Heinz Huber decided that he no longer wanted to only trade watches and jewellery, but also to design and manufacture watches of his own. He realised this plan in 1955 and founded the watch brand Circula, which he named after the circulation of the balance wheel in mechanical watch movements.

Today, 66 years later and now run by Cornelius Huber, the grandson of founder Heinz Huber, Circula are producing high-quality watches in the third generation, making it one of the oldest family owned watch microbrands in the world.

Circula still design, develop and assemble all watches in Pforzheim, Germany.
