* Generously proportioned, sophisticated, beautiful—and a little larger than the multiple prize-winning original model: That is Metro 38 Datum. Without a power reserve indicator, this watch is even clearer, more paired down and, thanks to a growth spurt, a little more masculine too. This timepiece presents Glashütte watchmaking craft at its finest. A glance through the sapphire crystal glass back reveals the movement DUW 4101 with the NOMOS swing system—the in-house escapement which has put NOMOS into the small selection of watch manufacturers to boast complete independence.
* Featuring a beatiful galvanized white dial with pale blue indexes and black steel oxidised hands, this stunning new release from NOMOS will be a wonderful new addition to the company line-up.

Nomos was founded in the small town of Glashütte in eastern Germany just after the fall of the Berlin wall. Even though the market was demanding Quartz, Nomos took a chance and focused on producing purely mechanical watches.
Today, Nomos Glashütte is one of only a handful of watch companies to call themselves a manufactory, meaning it is a company which develops and constructs its own movements rather than buying in movements from other companies.
Nomos live by the ethos ‘Deutscher Werkbund’, which means good design affordable for the many.
