* If there was still need for evidence that small is beautiful, the Chrono Felix Perpetual from the Habring² manufactory in Carinthia, Austria, would probably provide the ticking proof. The Chrono Felix Perpetual is the "little brother" of the Perpetual Doppel (which is the double chronograph with perpetual calendar) but this "little brother" features the Habring² in-house calibre A11CP which sits comfortably within a steel case with diameter of 38.5mm and 12mm in height. Unlike its "big brother", the Chrono-Felix Perpetual is not a double chronograph, which allows the movement to fit within the smaller case diameter.
* Inside the watch: A calendar module from Dubois-Depraz which reliably works in unison with the Habring² in-house calibre A11CP with mono-pusher chronograph. The date, day of the week and the moon phase are displayed, as well as leap year along with the aforementioned chrongraph with 30-minute counter displayed within the 12 o'clock sub-dial.
* Aesthetically, the watch is classically beautiful. Displaying a vertical grained, metallic salmon dial, rhodium plated "Breguet" numerals, polished steel hands and sunken registers with circular grain finish. The polished and satin finished steel case features stepped bezel and sapphire glass both front and back, the latter displaying the A11CP movement which displays polished bevels, decorative grinding and perlage.

Habring² can quite possibly lay claim to being the smallest watch manufacturer in the world, certainly the only watch manufacturer in Austria!
Maria and Richard Habring, who are the driving force behind Habring² founded the company in 1997 Volkermarkt, Austria in a fourth and fifth floor studio surrounded by lakes and mountains and proceeded to develop and produce a range of fine mechanical watches for which Austria was once so famous back in the 19th century.
Habring² produce a range of technically inventive mechanical watches such as tourbillons, the previously world exclusive and now much copied jumping second and a range of chronographs, which all share a classic, timeless design and are characterised by reliability and suitability for everyday wear.
Richard Habring, who’s career started as a watchmaker under his mentor Günter Blümlein at IWC played a major role in the development of the double chronograph and is now, with his wife Maria reconnecting with the great Austrian history of watchmaking by producing their own range of excellent mechanical wristwatches.
